The Duchess of Sussex, 40, sported a £3,200 Valentino white suit alongside her wedding shoes and earrings as she stepped out at the Invictus Games in The Hague.

Alongside the oversized white suit, Meghan opted for the bespoke pair of Shiver Aquazurra shoes with white silky satin with a mesh overlay, costing an estimated £700.

Paired with a white suit, Meghan appeared to be making a nod to her wedding day. Fittingly, it was the Invictus Games in 2017 where Meghan and Harry had their first ever public appearance.

Going to Valentino all round, she wore a £2,200 off-white bag from the Italian designer. She also accessorized with a golden ‘Love pendant’ by designer Sophie Lis, which refers to a French poem about enduring and growing love – believed to be a present from Prince Harry.

The necklace, first worn by Meghan in 2020, is made by designer Sophie Lis, carries the engraving ‘Qu’hier’ after a diamond encrusted plus sign, and ‘Que Demain’ followed by a ruby minus sign.

The reference is an ode from the 19th century French poet Rosemonde Gérard which translates to: ‘Every day I love you more, more than yesterday less than tomorrow.’

Meghan let her hair flow down in loose waves, and opted for diamond earrings, which she wore to her wedding, and Princess Diana’s Cartier watch.

The watch, thought to be a present from Harry, was worth $23,000 (£17,800) at the time but is now likely worth a lot more given its history.

The elegant timepiece was worn by Diana at a number of occasions, including a 1997 visit to London’s Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Hindu Temple and an engagement at the British Lung Foundation that same year.

Today, Meghan added more sweet tributes to Prince Harry – including wearing her Cartier Love Bracelet worth £5,300.

It’s a design that she has worn many times in the past, and which is also thought to have been a gift from Prince Harry in the early days of their romance.

The oval Cartier band is made of two C-shaped halves screwed together and the only way to remove it is with a screwdriver, like the 18-carat one supplied – a feature said to be inspired by medieval chastity belts.
